Everyone get what they want. Hawks get young guy in Clarkson and some picks for taking bad contracts. Lakers get expiring contracts and Pels get wing help while getting rid of bad contracts.

For the Pelicans, that's too much to pay to get Bazemore.

Mavs get Deng, Randle, Zubac, Hart, 2020 Lakers 1st rounder (top 5 protected) and Nuggets 2018 2nd rounder
Lakers get McRoberts, Harris and Mejri.

Lakers get Asik and Ajinca.
Pelicans get Deng and Zubac.
Lakers get 2 shorter contracts than Deng's and clear around 5 million of the books for free agency. They could even stretch waive Asik or medically waive him since he was diagnosed with Chron's disease.
Pelicans get much needed wing depth and a young prospect in Zubac to be DMC' backup.

Lakers get Bellineli and Delaney
Bulls get Deng, Zubac, Dorsey and two 2nd round picks from Lakers
Hawks get R. Lopez
Lakers get away from Deng and receive two expiring contracts.
Bulls get back a guy that was all star while playing for them and receive a young prospect in Zubac who could get in to the starting line up right away and help them tank while developing his skills.
Hawks receive a center that could be a mentor for Collins and once Hawks rebuilding is over will be of their payroll.

Well Lakers fans wouldn't reject but the Bulls sure would. For the Bulls or any team to take Deng's contract the Lakers will have to part with Ingram. Lakers have rejected that.
