Dallas was that underdoy, heart and soul, loyality, build and win - emotions. will have it never for Lakers - when I will follow them a bit. The only thing, what I am really looking forward is the next game DAL - LAL seeing LA winning.

Kyrie wasn't going to get anything close to the $41M a season he got in Dallas from the Lakers due to salary cap so not possible. It's not possible this summer either unless Lebron opts out and leaves.
Your idea of getting those 4 stars together is unrealistic due to the salary cap and 2nd apron system in place.

This Mavs GM ruined Mavs. Forever. It is such an opportunistic "try" with such high "risk" - Irving, Thompson, Davis - all have health issues - never play more than 60 games - y have this and may 1 or 2 years to win "one" ring and rebuild - without a lot pics. But first of all "Mavs base" and culture is dead. That Move is so uggly, like if you would have trade Nowitzki out at 2012, because he was older and not good at defense.
Mavs was always an underdog. To see a underdog grow and win it fantastic. Now it is business. Exchangeable - Mavs and all players are exchangeable - it does not matter if you play at Mavs - you could play at any other 29 cities - no difference - no CULTER - no Mavs anymore. One of 30 teams.

The new Mavs ownership weren't going to pay Doncic the 5 years $350M contract extension this summer so the decision was made to trade him to get a player who fits the Mavs system. Only time will tell if the Mavs made a mistake or not. Same goes for the Lakers. Right now the Lakers gave up pretty much all the assets they have in Davis 2 young players and the 2 first round picks for Doncic and Williams. This is something where for the Lakers we need to see what Rob does with cap space when Lebron retires.

Kyrie Irving tried to recruit Lebron to the Mavericks. He's not going to be traded. Lakers are not trading Lebron or AD. Lakers plan to build around both for this year. Expect the Lakers to add Chris Paul if he is waived by the Suns or if traded to another team as a salary dump.

LA gets strong needed shooting, Indy compensation for Turner, that will be gone anyway.
Mavs had 20 ppt advantage at Suns, they have taken it to easy and lost focus 2nd half. Green and Hardy can take Hardaways minutes and Turner over McGee will be a big advantages. Having 3x 1st available next year, Mavs can finally trade for SGA and be a contender.

Pacers would want 2 firsts from the Lakers to take on Westbrook. If the Mavericks want Turner then the trade wouldn't include the Lakers.
