Durant is off the cards now he got to the conference finals. We have the second pick to fill the 3 spot
Then we need a centre more than anything. Give hassain whiteside a max contract so we make sure we get him its better than getting vets who are going to sit on the bench and be a waste of space. We have the 32nd pick aswell and we either get Gary Payton II or Thon Maker if he's still their. If bass stays we take Payton if not Maker and call up vander blue

I like how realistic your post is. I agree that Durant is off the table and that the Lakers are going to receive Brandon Ingram in the draft. Especially because the 76ers coach, Brett Brown, used to coach Ben Simmons' father. Whiteside is definitely the way to go for a max contract, which may end up being $85-90mil over 4 years. Unfortunately, Harrison Barnes would only be available if Durant was interested in the Warriors. The only problem with this post is that our salary cap wouldn't hit the minimum amount of money needed to be spent. I would recommend spending it on great backups and possible starters on many teams, for example Kent Bazemore (26) at SF or Evan Turner (27) at PG. Both guys are young, versatile, and athletic. Roy Hibbert wouldn't be a bad resign at the right price, especially because his value is as low as its ever been. A bench sporting Turner at PG, Williams at SG, Bazemore at SF, Nance Jr. at PF, and Hibbert at C is up there with the best benches in the league. It would also give us a chance to make a big run at a max free agent in 2017 (Russell Westbrook, Blake Griffin, Gordon Hayward, Kyle Lowry comes to mind)

I like the team, the only problem for me is there is no leader or experience. U need at least one leader and plenty vet backups to reach youth core

This team is attainable and perhaps make it in playoff with 40+ wins but I hope Whiteside could strengthen his endurance against injuries.

Anyone who thinks we are getting durant don't be stupid out of all the teams he could go to he won't go to the lakers

If we do trade Lou Williams I would want us to get Andre Roberson. A very good defender what we don't have much of and maybe we get a first round draft pick off them aswell
