Sign and trade Clarkson and brown for buddy hield
we get a perfect shooting guard for Luke Walton system one that doesn't need to handle the ball.
I'm not saying buddy is worth both players combined.
But we get his low salary for many years and can get other players in.
Clarkson will cost at least 12 mil.
Idk, what you think.

Aren't we going to have to pay hield in a few years anyways? Whether we do it to a player now or in 4 years doesn't really matter. Besides I'd like to see how Clarkson plays in 'Luke's system'.

This is an improvement on my previous posts, I heard the comments and agree with them so here are my changes i'm making. Only in the free agent.
Everyone is going for a trade, and we are losing future by doing so. Where as there are so many good players in free agent this year.
Here's my plan.
Trade: Clarkson (s&t) + young + Williams to 76ers for future 1st round pick. Or a pick this year / we need to clear cap space for max contacta and they need guards for few years rebuilding/
Players we have and resigning:
D Russel (5.3)
J Randle (3.2)
L Nance Jr (1.2)
A brown (0.8)
M huertes (2) resign
MWP (2) resign
Cap size 89m - above =74.5m
Free agency:
Durant 26/ 4 Cap space left= 48.5
Whiteside 20/ 4 Cap space left= 28.5
J. Crawford 5/ 2 Cap space left= 23.5
M Conley 15/ 3+R. F. A Cap space left= 8.5
Stoudemire 1.5/ 1 Cap space left = 7
Draft: Ingrim (6) cap space left 1 m
Line up:
Conley/ Huertes
Russel/ Crawford/ A. Brown
Durant/ Ingrim/ MWP

Conley and Bazemore are going to looking for more than one year deals.
Conley probably gets close to a 4 year max offer.

I agree, the reason I gave them 1 year though is because vap size will increase even more next year and they can get a better deal. But I don't think Conley will get a 20 mil/year contracts. Idk what u think?

thesaintme your thinking of a player like Kevin Durant where he will take a 1 year deal with a 1 year option to cash in the next year. Mike Conley has a history of getting injured and Kent Bazemore just came off a good season so they need to cash in this offseason with multi year deals.

If hassan Whiteside doesn't agree deal (wants max) . Get pachulia.
Gasol said he wanta to win a title and would take a paycut. i'm sure he'd love to come back to LA.
All F. A gets 2 year contract. Except Conley and K Durant.
