Hearing lots of rumors that Lakers trade Russell to Utah for Gordon Hayward and Derrick Favors. Lakers keep #2 pick and go after Durant and Whiteside and resign Clarkson.

The rumor is actually the #2 pick and Russell for Hayward and Favors. Lakers are going to make the selection unless Butler, George or Cousins comes available to them outright for the #2 pick.

I think you let the core grow (Russell, Clarkson, Randle, Nance) along with Ingram. These guys are too young and talented to trade. Give them a year or two together with a real coach and system in place without Kobe distractions. Just need to add quality free agents around them. Cousins even said that he likes our young core.
