draft Jonathan Isaac

Mozgov, Nance and Young for M. Gasol or Drummond

Deng, Clarkson, Robinson and their Houston 1st rd pick acquired from Lou trade for George or Butler

It turns out that the lakers will lose 6 players plus 1 or 2 picks but that actually separates us from the Moz-Deng contract and acquire 2 established stars while containing our 2017 top protected pick, Russell, Ingram, Randle and Zubac.

We just need to get some quality players and improve the Line up from free agency.

Russell
George/Butler,
Ingram, Isaac, Brewer
Randle, Black
M.Gasol, Zubac

I don't see any of the other teams doing those trades.

Ball, Fultz or Jackson would be a better fit for the Lakers than Isaac. If Ball is on the board the Lakers will take him.

tool guy* then what can the lakers do for those teams to give it a go? include ingram in the George/ Butler trade then Randle to M. Gasol/ Drummond, I just look back at the Pau trade that materialize between LA and MEM?

citydude* out of those three, Ball and Fultz may hinder Russell improvement, that's why they traded lou to make way for Russell, if Ball is available since Fultz is more likely to be the top pick, Ball jumpshot isn't that good compare to Fultz, Monk and Smith Jr. Jackson is athletic but very much athletic that's all, bad at FT and in distance like a young Winslow. I looked to the more polished ability of Isaac out of hose three which is lengthy and a much better shooter than ingram and agile or quick. I kinda want for LA is Durant, KP and Giannis style of play that creates mismatches. This is just my opinion.

Ball and Fultz may hinder Russell dominance at the 1 spot but If Ball got drafted Russell will move to 2 spot which is pretty much like his position but as of now, lately due to the Lou trade I would love to see him facilitate and be more agressive as a shooter. For Jackson, he is much like a Winslow 2 years ago, pretty much athletic that's all, Jumpshot and free throw is my concern. Compare to Isaac, a kinda like for LA a KD, KP and Giannis style that creates mismatches. Just an opinion.

Lakers need a play maker. Somebody that can find the open man and create plays on his own. Also a good defender. Lonzo Ball can do that. D'Angelo Russell is an aggressive shooter already so like you said he would be moved to the 2 spot and Ball can play the 1 spot. I think Ingram and Isaac play the same type game.
