Philly really need a offensive player to help Embiid with the scoring. Once Simmons comes back from injury he will have a 3pt threat to pass to. Nick Young is playing some of his best basketball this year so this makes sense for both teams.

Lakers get the defensive anchor they are looking for to lockdown the paint. Contract works for both teams as well.
