If the Lakers decide to keep LeBron and go all-in again next year.
Lakers get Malcolm Brogdon and Buddy Hield
Pacers get Russell Westbrook and an unprotected 2027 first
Lakers get a much better fit at point guard and a floor spacer for Bron and AD. Pacers get a $47 million expiring contract that they likely buy out so they can hand the keys to Haliburton, and a likely lottery pick. Win-now for LA, cap space and youth for Indy.

:) ) ) ) Maaaan, the Knicks send a 1st round Pick and Randle for the dead body of Brogdon?

Warriors get LeBron James
Lakers get Andrew Wiggins, James Wiseman, and the rights to the Warriors 2022 first round pick
The Warriors go all-in on winning another ring with Steph Curry. The Lakers get a big expiring contract in Wiggins, a high upside young big in Wiseman, and a young prospect.

Wiseman is injured and would probably fail a physical. Unless Klay Thompson was in the deal the Lakers aren't trading Lebron let alone to the Warriors. Like in your next post you stated Lakers go all in. That's what the Lakers do. Go all in.

If the Nets fail to win it all this year, the pressure on them to win will be at an all-time high in 2023. Who says no to this?
Nets get LeBron James
Lakers get Ben Simmons and Day'Ron Sharpe
Unless the Lakers can find a way to drastically improve this offseason, LBJ will be on his way out next summer. I think it's in the Lakers best interest to trade him while they still can. Getting an all-star in his mid 20's who is one of the best defenders in the game in exchange for a nearly 40 year old player on an expiring contract is amazing value. Lakers likely enter a full rebuild, but perhaps they give Simmons and AD a year together and see what they have. Russ would obviously need a new home though.
The Nets form the most talented big 3 in NBA history. Personalities become a question: would KD want to share the spotlight with LeBron? Would Kyrie be okay with playing alongside LeBron again? If the Nets disappoint in the postseason, it's likely that the two stars would be willing to put their egos aside for a massive upgrade. If healthy, the Nets would be a near lock to win the 2023 finals. They run a risk of only having LBJ for 1 year, but defending a title is a pretty good reason to stick around. LBJ and KD are also great friends, so there's that.

Lebron for Ben Simmons will not happen. First off both are represented by the same agent Rich Paul. Second Lebron has stated he wants to remain with the Lakers. His children are in school in the Southern California area and he owns a home in LA so family wise that doesn't make sense. KD nor Kyrie will want Lebron on the Nets. There is only 1 ball. As you seen this year with the Lakers Westbrook doesn't fit with Lebron. Kyrie will not want to be the third wheel. Just look at how he and Harden worked out. As far as the Lakers are concern if the Lakers were to trade Lebron might as well trade AD as well cause Lakers will not be a playoff team. What this team needs is multiple young players who can play defense and shoot the ball. Hopefully with an expiring contract Westbrook will have some teams interested in maybe making a deal for him but how I see that ending is Westbrook will be either bought out or waived under the stretch provision where the Lakers can get $30M extra to spend this offseason to rebuild the roster.

76ers get Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook, and a top 3 protected 2027 first round pick
Lakers get Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, and Tyrese Maxey
Usually not a fan of trades like this where two teams essentially swap their cores, but I think it makes sense. The 76ers get a twin tower big man duo and a playmaker to feed them, while the Lakers get some much needed defensive help and a rising young scorer.

Do you guys think there's any way the Lakers can still bring in Buddy Hield by way of a THT sign-and-trade?
1.) 02 Aug 2021 15:02:55
No that is because of salaries. The only sign and trade for Hield would be Schroeder and the Kings don't need a third point guard. Now only if Schroeder is willing and if the Lakers, Kings and Wizards find a 4th team who wants Schroeder in a s&t like maybe the Knicks or Bulls those teams would have assets to send to the Wizards in a 4 team deal. Kings wanted Kuzma.
