Makes no sense. The Lakers are almost out of it that these kinds of moves make no sense at this point. You really think those deals are fair compensation for Lebron James, Davis, & Westbrook? Trade Westbrook, Reeves, and 2 first round picks & a 2nd for a player in Turner who will be a free agent plus fill in players. Sorry but no. Those picks are valuable. The players coming in return is not equal value.
I doubt adding a player like Lavine who will be making on average $43M a season plus Williams and give up Davis and Nunn in return is a smart move. Bulls are 6-7 after 13 games and I just see more of a loss in production with the players in return than the players going out.

What you guys think? Is there and realistic Chance that the Lakers say "hey Russ, if you opt out of your Contract, we will give you a new contract worth 70mil over 3years!"

No. This isn't a Chris Paul situation with the Suns where he opted out and got a contract extension. This is Westbrook playing out his contract and becoming a free agent next offseason either on the Lakers or another team. Expect him to go back to OKC next season. He can't this season due to his big contract unless he is bought out or waived.

and please Trade Nick Young for whatever. I can't watch him playing Basketball!
I think with this Roster LA can grow and will have enough Space for Durant and Westbrook in 2017.
