Right now word is Lavine wants max money. First year of via s&t is $42M. AD will make $37M so it will not work. For the Lakers to get Lavine at max money they will have to either trade Westbrook for nothing in return (not happening) or they waive him under the stretch provision which will give the Lakers $32M in space this season but will cost the Lakers $15M each of the next 2 seasons after that (not happening either. ) This is a bad year for Lavine to want to be a Laker. Next off season yes.
