Lakers should avoid all things Lebron and just add to their core.

FA signings
-Paul George (max)
-Deandre Jordan
-Isaiah Thomas
-Julius Randle
-Alex Caruso
-Travis Wear

FA trades
3 TEAM TRADE (LAL, SAS, ATL)
-Lakers receive (one year player) + cap relief
-SAS receive Zubac
-ATL received Deng + (24-27) Cavs pick 2018, Spurs 2019 first (protected 1-20)

Waive Tyler Ennis

PG: Ball/Thomas/Caruso
SG: George/Hart/(Summer or G-League)
SF: Ingram/vet FA
PF: Randle/Wear/Bryant
C: Jordan/FA

ATL - potential tanking team in 2019
SAS - no decent big man

Forgot about KuzGoat, he can back up Randle or Ingram.

This is good but don't sign Thomas, Caruso, or Jordan. Have Randle play center and kuzma play pf.

I agree on signing PG13 but I wouldn't sign Jordan. He does bring defense but the Lakers can get somebody cheaper at center than Jordan. Jordan will be looking for a 4 year $100M deal and he isn't worth that. I do agree with bring Thomas back but that's only if Lebron James doesn't sign. Shouldn't say avoid Lebron cause the way you have the roster I would say it's a 5th seed at best. With Lebron its a 2nd seed at best.

@city @honk

Nikola Jokic, Demarcus Cousins (assuming he stays in the West) or Anthony Davis, Steven Adams, Rudy Gobert, Marc Gasol = all seen 3-4 times a season

Drummond, Embiid, Howard = 2 times a season

You really think Randle will be effective at Center? He’s good at PF because most aren’t strong enough to contain him and he’s quick on his feet. But against those guys I named, he will exert too much energy trying to defend them to be as productive as he currently is as a PF. Lebron makes him or Ingram an odd man out. I’d rather be a YOUNG 5th seed that can grow into a 1-2 seed than get rid of Ingram or Randle for a 33 year old. Love Bron, just doesn’t make sense with how good Ingram and Randle are becoming. A center and shooting guard are the only gaps in this team.

GM- So you would sign Randle for 5 years $100M+ over signing a 2nd allstar? Keep in mind what the Lakers record was at the beginning of the season and also Randle's numbers while Ingram is in the line up. Also when I say cheaper option I am thinking resigning Lopez at a cheaper number. I do agree with you and disagree with Honk with Randle at center.

Ingram and Randle are 1-2 years away from being all stars. Lebron coming will hinder their growth. I would rather sign Cousins than Lebron for a second all star but the way this team has been playing, I don’t see why there would be any necessity for both Lebron and George. I’ll take the younger of the two. I wouldn’t mind re-signing Brook AT ALL. Lonzo and Hart’s rebounding ability make Brooks lack of rebounding okay. Brook stretching the floor is great for lazy big men.
