Lakers Fans Question: Would you be satisfied if you don't offer up one of russel, Ingram, or 2nd pick for PG this year and he goes to Cleveland due to best offer and he resigns there after next season? Or looking back would you pull the trigger?

This has been discussed. I wouldn't make a trade for PG13 if it means giving up assets for him when the team can get him without assets next summer. Right now its a risk for Cleveland to even make that deal but I think that the owner wants to go in a different direction. In an earlier post I mentioned Clarkson and Deng maybe a draft choice of some kind for him if the Lakers want him now. Lakers are currently looking for a lottery pick maybe to include in a George trade this summer.

People are worried about Cleveland. There is a rumor that Lebron James is leaving Cleveland for LA after next season. Should worry more about the Clippers but I have faith star players are coming to the Lakers very soon.

And what happens if you do make the trade and he leaves? Then you just put us a few more years behind. And if you keep the core and he comes then you could trade for another star. If we give up too much he will be back in the same situation as with the Pacers and he would not resign.
