Lakers won't do that. GM Lebron wants his buddy Chris Paul. Don't be surprised if Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony and Tristan Thompson are on the Lakers next year.

the lakers can do that trade to facilitate another trade while getting a young asset in draft thompson and melo they can get for nothing wiggins can be in play for a guard while resigning howard rondo and morris and signing galinari and cousins.

Dennis Facilitating what other trade? Lakers only trade assets are Kuzma, Caruso and the 2020 pick. Lakers have Green as expiring next year and other players who are expected to opt out. If you add Wiggins for Green and Kuzma the Lakers are using up $9M in salary cap. If that deal went through the Lakers will lose KCP, Rondo and Howard. They will want paydays. Yes signing Gallinari, and Cousins is a possibility. Read what he said "Dumps Wiggins Contract. " Lakers aren't interested in taking back long term big money deals. At this point though I am unsure when the season is going to start anyway. If the salary cap is lower than we expect then all this is being said for nothing.

adding wiggins then trading him 3 team deal for chris paul or another point guard with large salery howard is gone getting a bigger payday kcp didn't show up most nights for the money he getting rondo is the only real question mark will ha take less to remain with team I think he will to play one more year with davis and cousins.

Pistons get Kyle Kuzma and Danny Green
The Lakers get a legitimate 6th man in Rose, a wing on an expiring contract to replace Kuzma in Snell, and they get their second round pick back. Caruso/KCP/LBJ/AD/McGee with Rose as the 6th man looks like a team that can run it back.
The Pistons get an intriguing young talent in Kuzma who is from Michigan. An opportunity with more touches should help Kuz to realize his full potential. Danny Green brings championship experience to the mix and is on an expiring contract.

What would you guys think of Westbrook on the Lakers? He's obviously not the shooter that the Lakers want, but he'd be an upgrade over Schroeder and would thrive in a role as a playmaker alongside LeBron and AD. Thoughts?

Thoughts on the Lakers starting five this year? Here's what I'd go with:
LBJ/KCP/Kuzma/AD/Gasol
Bench: Schroeder/Caruso/Matthews/Morris/Harrell
Keep Bron at point guard. No one is better at distributing the ball. I want Kuzma to start so that Schroeder/Harrell can dominate the bench while Kuz still gets his minutes and touches. Kuzma is in his contract year, so it's time to see what he's really worth.

Small ball: Dennis/Matthews/KCP/LBJ/AD
Defensive stop: Caruso/KCP/LBJ/AD/Gasol
3's: LBJ/Matthews/KCP/Kuzma/AD

Matthews will be starting. Kuzma is coming off the bench. More than likely he will be 3rd of 4th player off the bench. Lakers still need another back up center at the vet minimum.
