HORNETS GET: LUOL DENG + PROTECTED 2020 2RP
LAKERS GET: BISMACK BIYOMBO
1. LUOL DENG didn't PLAY THIS YEAR, BUT BISMACK BIYOMBO DID. THE CONTRACTS ARE SIMILAR, BUT THE LAKERS GET A CENTER THAT CAN ACTUALLY PLAY SOME MINUTES.
2. HORNETS GET A PROTECTED 2ND ROUNDER TO COMPLETE THE DEAL.

Here is the problem. If the Lakers did that deal then the Lakers would be out of the running for a second star next off season. They must stretch Deng or clear Deng's salary off the books completely to get a second star. Adding Bismack Biyombo defeats that purpose. They can't stretch him and buying him out will not generate enough cap space.
Lakers will have a McGee, Wagner, Zubac rotation at center.

That's the type of deal the Lakers are looking for but the Nets are looking to conserve cap space next year to sign a star free agent. When they strike out they may do a deal to take on an expiring contract of Deng with a pick attached.

The only guy you mentioned that's available in 2019 is Klay.
Salary cap exists you can't sign all of those players.
You want to trade Deng for a 1st Rounder? Good Luck.
