LAKERS HAVE TRADED DLO AND MOZZY FOR BROOK AND 28th
Lakers have also offered Randle/Clarkson 2 first round picks for PG13
We will def pick Lonzo
So the updated roster if both the trades go thru will be
Lonzo Ball/Ennis
Brandon Ingram/Clarkson
Paul George/Brewer
Larry Nance/Thomas Robinson
Brook Lopez/Zubac
The record i predict will be around 50-32 since the defense will become solid on wings and the interior defense that larry Nance brings is very good and Lopez is a good inside Presence
This not only benefits Lakers in Cap Space but brings Star Power in LA even thought i felt that we would've been better not getting rid of the two young studs

you forgot about deng. deng would be starting at the 4 instead of nance if all trades goes through.
2.) 21 Jun 2017 15:11:06
Only knock on Lopez is rebounding. He has to step that up. Otherwise he's a decent shot blocker and has a good offensive game to him. He can give us 20 and 7 a night, that's great. 22M comes off the books next summer leaving room for a big man like Cousins.

I don't think you realize how good of a Squad we have currently:
D'angelo Russell- Elite scorer who can score from anywhere and is a excellent passer and is improving as a Defender. He gives every opposing point problems due to size and ability to post up.
Second half season stats-
17 ppg 6 apg 5 rpg
Brandon Ingram- improving slasher and ball handler who can pull up anywhere from inside at the arc and is very good spotting up has teh ability to become a all around star- Second half od season stats--
14 ppg 4 rpg 3 apg 47% Fg
Julius Randle- 6"9 Train who can push the ball and has handles of a guard and improved very much on his MR game and showed signs of his 3 point game during end of season he can be the Glue for the team and he is improving as a defender but is very good off the switch to guards he can become a nightmare for any team once he gets it going. Lamar odom type player
Stats- 13 ppg 8 rpg 4 apg
Ivica Zubac- A modern Center who can stretch the floor inside the arc and is a double double Machine and is a elite blocker already- He can become the most solid center in the league if he really masters that hook and mid range game.
(Now if you add a Lonzo Ball on this you get a guard who can put it all together with his vision and ability to pass very well
I don't like him i'd prefer Josh jackson who is a elite passer as well as a elite defender)
Philly is the only other team that can really match this Team IF embiid stays healthy otherwise its a no brainer

This team presently constructed is about a year away from making the playoffs. It is a star or 2 away from being a contender. When you say that Philly is the only team that matches this team. Yes if you mean prospects.
2.) 20 Jun 2017 18:44:10
You are using the word "elite" very, very loosely.
James Harden is an elite scorer. Chris Paul is an elite passer.
D'Angelo Russell is not an elite scorer, especially shooting 40% from the field. Josh Jackson is NOT an elite passer. A good passer for his position? Yes. So is Randle.
I think some fans are overrating these players. Maybe it's the age/ 2000s kids that are so enamored with having young players, that you guys are overrating this core. At best, Clarkson is a 6th man. Randle is a better passing Zbo, Russell is an all star for a few times. Ingram is the only player with superstar potential. He's who you build around. Magic and Pelinka have it right by making 2 and Ingram untouchable. Why fans want to salvage the limited potential of Russell and Randle over Paul George iamuses me. Neither Randle or Russell would be top 10 in this draft.
3.) 20 Jun 2017 18:49:19
And in regards to the 40% shooting, at the position that fans glamour him at, SG, and the same stat line fans throw out (post all star), he shot 42%. 42% for a shooting guard is not elite once so ever. I can say, Russell has offensive potential but I see poor mans James Harden in him. Very poor man James Harden. Harden gives you more passing, better playmaking, smarter offensive IQ in basket attacking and knowing when to pass, and better speed that allows him to score quicker. Russell can't amount to that. Maturity will play a huge role. I don't hate Russell, I just know potential. He's not worth keeping over 2-way Paul George.
4.) 20 Jun 2017 21:47:51
I think the idea is why trade for PG when he will come next year for free. Adding him without sending out assets is a win win. You could trade them later for another star.

I see Kuzma becoming a start him and lonzo are so perfect as a fit
We need to unload Deng
(Julius+2019 First+Deng )
I see us being very close if not above .500
Lonzo/Clarkson
KCP/Hart
Ingram/brewer
Kuzma/Nance
Lopez/Zubac
1.) 17 Jul 2017 07:11:39
i like kuzma but it's too early to pull the trigger on randle.
2.) 18 Jul 2017 05:26:27
We're going to have to get rid of randle anyway if we want george and another superstar.
3.) 19 Jul 2017 18:16:40
No point to trade any young talent until we get that first star. Unfortunately I don't see George leaving OKC. I hope he convinces Westbrook to come to LA with him. But that's not going to happen.

I am so proud to be a laker all season I've been saying Josh hart would bring defense to the team and BOOM magic delivers props to the man.
I feel we drafted around alonzo with everyone having a good shot and good defense
Lonzo
Hart
Ingram
Kuzma
Zubac
I don't think any team can even touch that roster
Lonzo is the perfect player for the team now that lakers built a good Shooting and defending team around him
Josh Hart will bring all around game and solid defense imo a better upgrade over Clarkson
Ingram is a slasher who as he fills out will be a solid defender and a fantastic piece to help out on offense
Kuzma brings much needed Versatility and Toughness that would be needed
Thomas bryant is the perfect 3 and D center to compliment to Lonzos vision
I feel that philly might actually not be able to handle this lineup since they have only 2 players who can truly stretch the floor and the third gets hurt too often. this would be the Showdown
Philly Lakers
Fultz Ball
Covington Hart
Simmons Ingram
Saric Kuzma
Embiid Zubac
I feel we should Trade Randle and Clarkson after the season if they can't keep up and just keep getting picks because this team is going to win in 4-5 years may even steal 8th this season if they can really gel and everyone plays their part

This is atrocious.
