Most likely scenario would be:
A)
Cap space: 5M + 9M(Deng, stretched contract) = 15M
Then trade for Kenneth Faried(expiring contract) since Nuggets don't want him and his contract, and Faried already demanded for trade last season and wants out.
Note: You can trade for his contract since we have cap space left.
