Can we trade KCP already? We could trade him, randle, and 2 future 1st rounders for kyrie. Cleveland will keep their roster strong. KCP better than Rose. Plus lakers can still trade Clarkson and Deng together for something else down the line. PG13 wants a star set in L.A. before he comes, here you go.

Both players are role players. Obviously Kyrie Irving gives you more scoring and KCP gives better defense. I wouldn't say Kyrie Irving is a main guy type player. We can sit here debate or disagree all we want fact is the numbers don't lie and that Kyrie Irving will not make the Lakers a winner as the main guy. We have Lonzo Ball who is a perfect fit for what the Lakers need.

You can't trade KCP until Dec 15th. League rules when signing a free agent.
I don't think Kyrie is the answer. He is too ball dominant and will not fit into Luke's system. We need to wait for PG13 and LBJ, and work on getting rid of Clarkson and Deng.

Trade clarkson, randle, ingram and deng for irving and love. 5th seed at least for sure. Then we can add pg13 next season.

The Cavs are going to want picks for Irving, and good ones. As well as up and comers, and established veterans. Plus, I don't think Kyrie will fit into a motion offense that Luke has installed.
Nice try, but Clarkson and Randle need to prove they are more dimensional, and who in their right mind would take Deng without a 1st pick attached.

What if we trade with Cleveland for Irving and Love, for Clarkson, Ingram, Randle and Deng and future 1st and 2nd.
Cleveland wants Loves contract gone. And we want Dengs gone.
Then in 2018 we can sign for max free agent like paul george.
We don't need Lebron. He will mess our team up like he did Cleveland and Miami. Magic and Pelinka will be fine without Lebron playing GM.
Then our starting 5 will be
Ball
Irving
George
Love
Lopez

Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka want Lebron James. They are saving cap space for him along with Paul George. That's what's happening. So they aren't adding Irving or Love let alone both nor trading Ingram. Nice try though.

Lebron didn't "GM" the team in Miami. Himself, Wade, and Bosh got together and made it happen. And I'm sure that Riley was in on the whole thing.
The only reason Lebron went back to Cleveland was because he was given control over the team (cudos to him) .
He's shown he can fit into a team that has strong management (i. e. Miami) . Dan Gilbert is a huge douchebag and would never have won a championship with Lebron and his "GM" skills.
I would welcome LBJ to Lakerland, that dude can flat out ball. And with a young team can mentor them and push them to get to the next level. just as he did in Cleveland.

Look. I don't think we need Lebron. I think Kyrie Irving the better solution long term, and I think the Lakers can help him become a better player with their staff. I would trade Brandon Ingram, Jordan Clarkson, Luol Deng and a future pick for him. Cavs would accept a great deal like that. Then we can get Paul George and find a way to get Boogie if it looks like an upgrade at center is needed to be very good. Depends on how this years team performs. And if Kyrie doesn't work out, trade him for Westbrook.
