LAL/IND

Keep #3 pick. If lost throw D'Angelo back for that pick. Teams will go for it because of Ball being tainted by naming his preference of the Lakers. Draft Lonzo Ball.
Shift D'Angelo to SG as he's a true SG. Sign-And-Trade Gordon Hayward for Paul George.
Trade Timofey Mozgov, Nance Jr., 2018 Second Round Denver, 2019 First Round (or transferred Second Round picks if we lose it due to protection), 2019 Second Round Chicago for Jahlil Okafor & Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot.
Sign J.J. Redick.
Sign Kyle Korver if pick transfers.

If we keep #3 pick.

Ball/Clarkson
Russell/Redick/Luwawu-Cabarrot
George/Ingram (6th Man)/Young
Randle/Deng
Okafor/Zubac

If Pick Transfers.

Ball/Clarkson
George/Redick (6th Man)/Luwawu-Cabarrot
Ingram/Young/Korver
Randle/Deng
Okafor/Zubac

How did you george this season or is that 4 2018.

I don't think you can do a sign and trade with a player from another team.

And I don't think Philly would do that deal. Nor will Russell net a top 5 pick.

I did a Sign-And-Trade for him using Gordon Hayward.

I don't think Russell would elicit a top 5 pick under normal circumstances but due to Ball naming his preference of Lakers I feel as other teams view him as tainted and will try to avoid drafting him as proven with other similar situations in drafts where draftees virtually force their way out by saying they want to play with another team. You can do a Sign-And-Trade with a player from another team under CBA. Philadelphia deal is a little more far-fetched but they have expressed a desire to rid themselves of Okafor in the past and with the picks added in I feel as if they would want to make a deal.

And Gordon Hayward is in Utah.

6.) 27 Apr 2017 15:14:10
He's going to be a free agent.

Dev- If Hayward signs with the Lakers he isn't getting traded. Lakers would either sign him or they don't. IMO I doubt he signs with the Lakers. I disagree with you about Lonzo Ball being tainted. His father talks a lot but that's just talk. If the Lakers keep the pick I see the Lakers selecting him if available if not then he will go somewhere else. Lakers could pick 3rd and Ball has a chance of being gone.

The signing for Hayward would be fine with the intention of a trade and he would know going in. He is from Indiana and has previously said he would love to play there. Sign and trade is a common method for multiple tasks to solve their problems especially when cap is a problem or a team like the pacers has a problem player on their roster. If we lose top 3 pick we are set back. I was looking for a solution but I do agree it may be far fetched. However I do believe that if we keep our top 3 pick that roster scenario is pragmatic.

Dev- Why would Gordon Hayward sign for less money with the Lakers knowing he will get traded in 2 months to a year when he can resign with Utah for more money? If your answer is so he can go home to Indiana well he can sign outright to play in Indiana as a free agent and play with Paul George there. Your verison of sign and trade is not common. I guarantee you that if he knew he would get traded he will not sign. (I doubt he signs with the Lakers anyway) .
