Spurs star and Compton, California native Demar Derozen ($27,739,975) for Lakers role player Danny Green ($19,975,610) and potential future star Kyle Kuzma ($8,905,445)

Note: Gregg Popovich has already developed a relationship with the young Kyle Kuzma coaching him last summer during Team USA. While Demar Derozen in previous years expressed interest in going back home to Los Angeles to play for his hometown team Lakers before he eventually signed a max contract with his former team Toronto Raptors. Which resulted in him getting traded for Kawhi Leonard. This trade is only feasible if Derozen opts in to his player option for the 2020-2021 season which is likely due to the uncertainty of the cap situation

Aint going to swap to someone who can't shoot 3s, he may be a star, but lakers will lack shooters, trade them to star who has mid and 3s consistently.

Gregg Popovich isn't going to help the Lakers at all. He rejected the Lakers offers for Kawhi Leonard a couple years ago. He was vocal about the Gasol trade a decade ago. So a trade isn't happening. DeRozan had a chance to come home to Los Angeles but he decided to resign with the Raptors and gave the Lakers no interview. That tells us something.

Derozen probably has a better shooting percentage from three this last rseason than Danny Green did in the playoffs. Get rid of Danny Green and trade Kuzma, because we aren’t resigning him the following season because Pelinka has Giannis in his sights. That’s why we have Jason Kidd and his little brother on the team. And every single contract on the lakers roster is designed to give us maximum cap room for when Giannis becomes a free agent. If I were the Spurs I would immediately go young. Take a flyer on Kuzma, take the training wheels off the young man and see what he’s got. Why would you keep paying Derozen big money to remain in the basement of the Western Conference? You’re better off going young and looking towards the future.

I don't disagree with you about the Spurs trading DeRozan. He probably will get traded. The Spurs can get a better offer. The offers other Lakers fans think Green and Kuzma are worth on the open market is far more than what teams are willing to give up. Here is reality. The Lakers offered Kuzma for the Kings Bogdanovic and the Kings turned that deal down. Now as far Giannis it's highly unlikely he will be going anywhere yet alone to the Lakers. In order for that to even be possible Anthony Davis will have to opt into his contract making him a FA after next season and Lebron James will have to opt out of the final year of his deal and all sign. When Davis is offered the Max this summer I see him taking it and that ends the idea of Giannis to the Lakers cause no cap room. Prediction Giannis resigns with the Bucks for Max.
