Sign Dedmond to the remaining cap space
Use the MLE on Ariza

Trade

The Lakers get Walker, Hernangomez, Leonard, and Green

The Spurs get Deng, Kuzma, Ingram, Hart the Lakers 2021, the Lakers 2023 and the Lakers 2025 with the 2025 being top 5 protected

The Hornets get Ball, Zubac, the Lakers 2019 and 2 future 2nds

Sign Chalmers, Jack, Harris and Illyasova to the minimum

New line up

Walker/Chalmers/Jack
George/Green/Harris
Leonard/Ariza
Lebron/Illyasova/Bates-Diop
Dedmond/ Hernagomez/Porter/Bryant

That's a lineup that can beat anyone. There is a ton of wing defense and shooting. They can play any style. They're athletic and long. Plus they have a ton of experience. The Lakers have to sell their entire future to get it and it will end up being ridiculously expensive, but that's a team that would have a chance to win the next 4 or 5 Championships.

Your trade would turn into a total nightmare. 3 future first round picks, Kuzma, Ingram, Ball and Hart to get Leonard and Walker? That's way too much for expiring contracts. The Lakers need to sell Paul George, Lebron James and even Kawhi Leonard on a team that can compete. If you trade everybody that makes no sense then. I wouldn't get Walker if the Lakers get the other 3. Only 1 ball.

Considering how deep Phily and Boston are with young talent, we just have to wait to get max or superstar players. Getting max players and trading away key players, just to go deep in playoffs is not the LAKER way. We think championships. That being said, we do need to get George this year to start the dream sequence.
