Kings wouldn't do that plus couple issues. Kanter will be opting out and become a free agent this offseason. Lakers nor the Knicks can't trade back to back picks. If anybody thinks they can trade back to back picks look it up. It's against NBA rules.

It would work for the knicks as the stepien rule does alllw for the trading of back to back picks as long as a team receives a 1st rounder in exchange (I. e. the doncic pick) . But the lakers wouldn’t be receiving any, therefore making the trade impossible. unfortunately.
