This offseason Lakers already have enough money to get 2 max free agents. However, if Lakers trade the number one pick along with Deng, Lakers can have more money to spend.

Lakers sign Paul George, LeBron James, and D.Favors. Then, Lakers resign Julius Randle.

sign Rondo and Jeff Green.

Rondo and Randle as back ups? Yeah I don't see either signing to be a back up. If the Lakers get Lebron James and Paul George then Randle is gone. Paying him $12M to $18M per season as a back up makes no sense.
