Please explain why the Pistons do this? I don't see the Pistons taking on Deng's contract with them being the biggest losers in money in the league. Johnson and Bradley could net more than that.

Johnson and Bradley have both been terrible this season, taking in Zubac who looked like he had heaps of potential last year and 2 second rounders would do the trick for me, but the lakers have Thomas Bryant who has looked superior so we can afford to trade Zubac, and Detroit gets to dump salary for seemingly a bust in Johnson and a disappointing Bradley who was just a rental anyways.

I wouldn't say Avery Bradley is having a terrible season. He is putting up the same averages pretty much as last season. Stanley Johnson has underachieved but I think that's more the system he is in. Zubac would get the same amount of minutes behind Drummond and probably wouldn't be worth the gamble to the Pistons to give up Bradley, Johnson for him + take on Deng's contract. I am just looking at this on the Pistons side but yes the Lakers would do this if offered. Lakers tried hard to get Bradley before he was traded to the Pistons.

Also Thomas Bryant hasn't played a minute yet so we don't know what he will do facing NBA talent. All we know is that he did an interesting solider march when Nance Jr. dunked on KD. No serious that is Thomas Bryant's highlight of the year.

You’re saying Pistons give up Stanley Johnson, Avery Bradley, Ish Smith to take on Deng’s ridiculous contract, a center who wouldn’t get that much PT in Zubac because the Pistons have Drummond who now added a passing game to his regime, and 2 second round picks.

Stanley is a lotto pick in a bad system and Bradley is one of the best 3&D guards in the league. Pistons say no.

this trade makes zero sense. No way the Pistons would accept this.
