Let me get this straight! You want the Lakers to trade 22 y/ o J. Randle and his last yr. $4,149,24. Not even in his prime. To receive a 34 y/ o Channing Frye and his $7,420,912 salary
with a late Suns pick! The Cavs and the Suns upgrade! Lakers loose on this trade!

IDK, the Lakers know they aren't contending this year. And Frye is off the books after this year as well. We probably aren't going to retain randle so it might be a good investment to get a first rounder for him instead of letting him walk.

What I do know are facts! Los Angeles Lakers have now missed the playoffs for four straight seasons! Us real Laker fans are tired of it, and Do Not want to miss the playoffs for a fifth straight year! The front office, led by Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka, wants that streak to end next season. For you to say the Lakers aren't contending this year are from a Non-Laker fan! Who didn't have a clue about Lakernation. It's do or die for Randle. Make or break season. If he performs well, he will stay in the Lakers future rebuilding plans. If not will be traded. For someone better. Like the D'lo trade. His trade value is highe. You can get a whole lot more than adding a wash-up Frye. and a late pick for him.
