Lakers109- It's stupid to trade the #2 overall pick just to dump salary. When people read reports about the Nets wanting a first round pick that's a very late first rounder. They aren't expecting the 2nd overall for an expiring contract.

The Kings picks do not equate to the talent level at pick number 2.
1. Fultz
2. Ball or Fox
3. Jackson

The talent drop off isn't huge but it's not comparable to the top 3 picks. Why would the Lakers trade it away to go get 5 and 10 when the potential star talent isn't going to be there? I think it is pointless to trade away the pick for anything other than a star player. Lakers are not in rebuild mode still. They're moving up and adding a 5&10 pick instead of a 2 pick is regressive.

Yeah there is talent all the way threw the draft. just cuase you get top 5 pick doesn't mean anything these days. Refresh my memory on what draft pick Kobe was?

12 pick but if they see something we don't see then that's when they going trade with the kings but we can make mozgof and 28 for Lopez any time that's all they want bcuz they got a lot of cap space.
