LAL : C.Anthony + 8th pick + future 1st round pick (protected)
- get a star player and still get a high pick and a future pick for their huge contracts

No one wants Carmelo on the Lakers he's old and washed up, still a good guy though.

What about Carmelo Anthony makes you believe he is worth the number 2 overall pick and Russell?

Can't lead his team to the playoffs, half the time on the court, half the time on the sideline. Over 30, obviously not ring hungry seeing how he took all that money and stayed in New York. Not worth the potential of the 2 pick and Russell when he will retire in the same years Russell and the 2 pick hit their prime.

Maybe if the trade was porzingis, then maybe but a str8 up trade for Dlo.
