Might have to give up the Houston pick. Which I'm cool with since I'm a fan of TRob and would like to see him back over TBlack. I wouldn't be opposed to trading down to get D'Aaron Fox and 2nd rd pick for the top 3. Not sold on Lonzo's defense.

Nets can get a better offer than a second and Brewer. Not to mention taking on mozgov's contract.

Toolguy- Nets are required to spend $85M to $90M this offseason and the years to come which is why you hear Lopez to the Lakers for Mozgov a lot. Nobody is going there so trading to get Mozgov's salary will help fill the requirement. In 2 years the Nets will be down to $24M with no pick so they have to get contracts in.

I understand that. But they are still going to get better offers than that. Maybe if you gave them the Rockets pick? No way we get rid of Mozgov's contract giving up just a 2nd.

The Nets asked for two first round picks. Didn't get it. They then dropped the price from that to a first round pick and second round pick. Didn't get that. It's going to be hard for a team to take $23M in salary and give up a first round pick and second for a Lopez who has an expiring contract. That's of course with get a bad contract to take back. I would say the Lakers should consider giving up the 28th pick but I would say 2 seconds would be the most the Lakers can offer.

Ok using your logic. Up the stakes a bit.

Nets get
Mozgov, Deng, 28th pick and a couple seconds. If we have to add a future first then ok.

Lakers get
Lopez, Booker
Both are free agents next year and clear cap space.
