Since this is lakers trade rumors I'm going to make my dream scenario and picks for the lakers.

1. Sign - trade how ever we do it get Paul George
2. Sign John Wall
3.my favorite center today is Marc Gasol because he's very aggressive and the Gasol family brought us 2 championships so I'd like to pick up Mac Gasol
3. Get rid of dangelo Russell - nick young Larry nance and Corey brewer for some better young player like ben simons Dante exum or garnered the pick to get Lanzo ball just get all those guys out of la for something good
4. Give Luke 2 years if he doesn't do well get back Phil and make Luke assistant coach and for anyone saying oh that will never happen hey this page is called rumors it's not to far fetched but it's a slim chance but just could happen.

1. Trading for PG 13 is probably your best idea here. but even of that, let me tell you why that isn't necessary.
He's a free agent one year after, and it's already possible he can get traded elsewhere for better. Magic and Pelinka know PG13 wants to come to LA and they got the money to throw at him. Keep in mind that if Pg 13 makes all nba, he can sign for a mega extension for like.220 million or something like that. so that's a good enough reason to stay with Indiana - who are in the playoffs, and have a decent team.

2.Chances that Wall leaves Wizards are slim. they were in the race for the best record in the East, and the team has growing talent around them. Beal still growing, Otto Porter Jr even more so. Plus Wizards can offer him the most money to resign.

3. Dante Exum? You kidding me? The dudes on the bench in the playoffs. He's injury prone. He's shown nothing. I had high hopes, but so far, he's looking like a volatile pick up for the Jazz. D Angelo is a great scorer, and he has the star like qualities to carry him to great lengths. I question his focus on the game itself and if he really believes the words that come outta his mouth about how he wants to work on defense and all that. But he's an asset to any team, and Lakers should not give him up for now. Let them all grow.

4. Give Luke 2 more years. to go BACK to Phil Jackson? Knicks don't want him right now. Porzingis went on a team strike against the triangle offense. NY doesn't want him. Carmelo certainly hates him, but Carmelo is done. He's like an Antwan Jamison.
Give Luke a solid 4-5 years let him grow his players and sign players on the way. Lakers is too great of a franchise, great of a city for any player to not consider even the slightest.

Yes I agree with you couple things though I didn't say get rid of Luke if he doesn't do as expected then just drop him to assistant coach under phils wing he learned a lot from Steve Kerr and maybe that will be good for his knowledge as a coach to learn from the best and Phil will only coach maybe 2 more seasons then let Luke take over as head coach the other thing Dante exum I was just throwing a name that was in that age group but if he wasn't so much injury prone he'd be really good.
