Lakers receive Brooks Lopez

Nets receive Timofey Mozgov, Corey Brewer, & 2 first round picks from the Rockets.

Rockets receive Lou Williams & Tarik Black

This deal works both cap wise and player/team wise. Lakers get Lopez a big body that can guard the paint. Can score and wouldn't take up salary cap space next season. Rockets get Williams who they are in need of plus Black. Nets are looking to move Lopez and get first round picks back. They get Mozgov which I know is probably impossible to move but he would fit what they need plus get Brewer.

Houston gives 2 firsts for Williams and Black? Where does that make sense for Houston?

Rockets aren't giving up 2 1st round picks for Williams and Black.

Toolguy and Carl. Right now there are 6 teams interested in Williams. I think with the amount of interest there will be a bidding war. Cap friendly contract and good production off the bench.

I hope I'm wrong but 2 first is to much for Williams.

These first round picks from the Rockets will be in the high 20s. Rockets are the fourth best team in the league right now so the first rounder say this year isn't going to be in the teens. Same if say the Wizards get him. Now teams like the Thunder or Pacers could give a first rounder in the teens so that would be more appealing. Those 2 would be reluctant to give 2 first rounders but maybe a prospect and a first rounder. Keep in mind a prospect like say Roberson is good value as a first rounder in the teens/ 20s.
