Another idea the Lakers probably won't do but should consider:

-draft with pick 2: Brandon Ingram - projected 2 pick
-draft with pick 32: Thon Maker - projected 34 pick

***trade pick 2/ Brandon Ingram for Jusuf Nurkic and the Nuggets 7th pick: draft Buddy Hield - projected 6 pick
[] Hield is projected to go to NOLA, who has Tyreke Evans at SG for 2-3 years. I don't see them taking another guard, they really need a small forward so Jaylen Brown, projected 7th pick will be a better pick.
[] Lakers get a center and a 4 year college player who won't be immature and can score the ball. He's also Kobe approved. Nurkic is a excellent pick and roll defender and protects the rim. His contract is low and the excelling of Jokic would make him expendable.

-signee 1: Kevin Durant to a 4 year 110 million max contract
-signee 2: Al Horford to a 4 year, 80 million deal
-signee 3: Evan Turner to a 2 year, 9 million deal
-resignees: Jordan Clarkson to a 3 year, 54 million deal
also: Marcelo Huertas, Robert Sacre

PG: D'Angelo Russell/ Clarkson/ Huertas
SG: Buddy Hield/ Williams
SF: Kevin Durant/ Bazemore/ Brown
PF: Al Horford/ Randle/ Maker
C: Jusuf Nurkic/ Nance Jr/ Sacre

[] A lot of offensive power and defense balance.
[] Count Buddy as a vet, think about the maturity and development of a 4 year college player and remember Lillard's "rookie" season. A triple double his first few games. Playoffs.
[] The bench is basically a low budget starting lineup on other teams. The depth is what will carry this team to a top 5 seed
[] Can compete with the Warriors with scoring and bench depth. That's what Durant wants. OKC only had scoring from Durant and Westbrook. Anyone except for Nurkic, can hit a 3 with easy on this lineup. Luke will make this team at least a 50 win team.

Buddy Hield has been projected to go 3rd to Celtics and even if the Celtics don't take him I doubt he slips past the Suns at 4th. let's put that aside. I wouldn't have done the deal anyway. Ingram fits a need for the Lakers which is defense and a player that can drive to the basket or hit a jump shot. Scoring is not an issue and wouldn't be an issue with Durant on the team.

I think buddy heild will slip to the 5th spot. Celtics have their sights on Bender and the Suns do not need another SG because they have Devin Booker already, therefore they should select Jaylen Brown.
