I said that in a post already! Are you copying and pasting other people's posts? smh! Only thing you changed from my post was resigning Clarkson to 4yrs $70 mil instead of the 4 yrs $25 mil I said. By the way, signing Clarkson to a 4yr $70 million contract can't happen because he can only get a max of 4yrs $57 million on an offer sheet from any other team thanks to what is called the "Gilbert Arenas clause" that prevents teams from signing a restricted free agent to a contract for more than 4yrs $57 million. With that addressed, why would the Lakers bid against themselves by signing Clarkson to a contract paying that much? The quick answer is absolutely no reason because they wouldn't smh! Learn facts before you post. Especially if you're going to post other people's post smh!

ThatsAsternveto what CA posted is pretty much a common rumor in Laker forums. So even though you might have posted it someplace its not like its something uncommon. I've seen that same rumor many of times since the season has started in multiple forums.

That is basically the least I expect from the Lakers this offseason. Then of course the other possible Free agents are the icing on the cake. Lakers have Clarkson's bird rights so they can sign him for less.

Bird rights allow you to go over the salary cap to retain a player if their previous contract was 3 years or longer
