Lakers plan

Trade Kobe, hibbert, randle, clarkson, Russell, and 2016 unprotected pick or next unprotected pick can trade. Get Durant and Westbrook. Thunder then buyout Kobe and hibbert. Thunder does this to save money and to get Young players and pick to replace them. They would take a big risk to keep Durant beyond this season and westbrook expires following year. Also can get another team envolved and take hibbert for a pick. Thunder would have cap to sign players to trade at 2017 deadline to gain picks and prepare better for future. Thunder only other option is to trade Westbrook and ibaka for a whole new team and try to please Durant to stay but highly unlikely. Durant is so Hollywood and so is Westbrook.

Lakers do this to get better real quick and don't have to worry about building for the future. They have two top ten players and great players choose as free agents to sign there. Then Lakers can resign Kobe and sneak in playoffs. Maybe young will play better and get easy shots.
If not this trade Lakers can sign durant in off season and trade for westbrook. Their pick on draft day plus Russell for Westbrook.

The Lakers will NEVER trade Kobe. Plus he has a no trade clause and won't waive it. He just wants to retire a laker
